Shit sorry, my mistake its a 912, made in '67 itd a 1.6 litre flat 4 that made 102bhp and had a 5speed 'box. It was deliberatley styled too look like the more expenisive 911. It was capable of 119mph and hit 60 in 11.6 secs. Better?! :D

yeah its a 914 it had a 4 cylinder boxer engine, similar to that from a beetle instead of the 6 cylinder that 911s run, it was still air coolled and was good for over 100bhp

seeing as my last comment was deleated i will be more civil; I would highly recomend anyone who shows interest in purchasing this bike to ask the seller if it is possible to view the recipts for the work he cliams to have had done and the parts he claims to have purchased as I have a strong reason to believe that the work was carried out by a previous owner, whom he paid less than that which he is asking for the bike. I hope that this is viewed as apporopriate and has highlighted a possible issue with any perspective buyer that I recommend they discuss with the seller before they exchange any cash, I would also like to highlight that i appologise IF this statement is found to be incorrect but personally feel that it would not have a negative effect on the sale IF indeed it does turn out to be an incorrect statement.
